Bonsai Staging Workshop: Usal Project

Join us for an immersive workshop where nature’s resilience and beauty take center stage. In this hands-on session, we’ll recreate the serene yet powerful vibe of plants thriving in their natural habitats—nestled amongst rocks, minerals, and sand, or clinging to cliffsides. Using carefully curated materials, we’ll craft a mini habitat that reflects this raw beauty.

Throughout the workshop, we’ll dive into the art of bonsai cultivation, discussing the delicate balance of training different plants. Some may require more patience and attention than others, and we’ll explore the "how" and "why" behind each technique.

As part of the experience, we’ll repot plants from their plastic containers into refreshed vintage terracotta pots, giving them a new home while enhancing their aesthetic. If the plant’s growth and form call for it, we’ll also engage in trimming or wiring techniques, helping shape and guide their growth.

While working with our plants, I'll share essential tips on succulent and bonsai care, including light, watering, and growth requirements, ensuring that you leave with the knowledge to nurture your own plants at home.
